Fundraising Galas: 10th Annual Arts & Letters Auction and Reception

10th Annual Arts & Letters Auction and Reception

On October 23, 2010, LW Events helped the YMCA of Greater New York celebrate its 10th annual Arts & Letters Auction and Reception at Jazz at Lincoln Center. The event raised over $300,000 to support the Y After School Program and honored Michele Lee Wiles, Principal Dancer, American Ballet Theatre; Wally Lamb, author of She's Come Undone and I Know This Much is True, and Tom Harrison, Chairman and Chief Executive Office of Diversified Agency Services, Omnicom Group. Academy and Tony Award winning actress Marcia Gay Harden served as the evening's Mistress of Ceremonies. The event included a silent auction along with a performances from all of the honorees. With over 300 people in attendance it was one of the most successful Y events in history.
